Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel has admitted that he is looking forward to becoming a father for the first time, when his wife Fergie gives birth to their first child together. Josh says that he always has a good rapport with children but knows that having one of your own is completely different.
Duhamel told Yahoo OMG, "It's very exciting. Seeing that ultrasound is unlike anything you've ever seen. You're like, 'Wow, it's mine,' I think that I've always had an affinity for kids. There's something about me and kids that just clicks. I don't know if it's because I am a kid, but it does prepare you whenever you're around them."
While Josh has had plenty of experience looking after other people's kids, he does admit that it will be completely different to have his own, "I've got nieces and nephews and all my friends have kids. All that stuff is a learning experience for when it actually happens, but I don't think you're ever truly prepared until it's your own," he added.
Josh Duhamel can currently be seen on the big screen in the US, starring alongside Julianne Hough, in the movie Safe Haven, which will be released in the UK on March 1.
