We are getting ever closer to discovering who you, the fans, want to see playing Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie but, as the list of potential candidates gets smaller, it gets that much harder to choose. We recently saw Robert Pattinson overcome competition from Eddie Redmayne and now we are down to our final four. Now it is time to see who is more your Christian Grey between Henry Cavill and Ian Somerhalder.
Henry Cavill has been developing a huge reputation among the Fifty Shades of Grey fans and has fast been becoming a fans favourite to play Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. One eager fan stated, "I'd love to see Henry play Christian Grey. He has that strong, chiseled jaw and masculine physique. Still being pretty unknown, he's gone a long way recently amongst Fifty Shades fans. Overall I believe he's a better fit for the part than other favs like Matt and Ian." Henry definitely has the right look for Christian Grey and, with the weight of Man of Steel on his shoulders, he has proven that he is more than capable of carrying a major movie franchise.
The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder has been a fans favourite to play the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey film since day one. At one point it seemed almost certain that it would be either him or Matt Bomer that would win the fans choice. However, the full on support that Ian once had seems to be falling, with fans now turning to other stars. One fan explained, "I find Ian to be a little bit feminine at times, lacking physically, and he overdoes the bad-boy thing." Ian could easily bulk up if needed and he has admitted that he might be interested in the role but is he who the fans want?
While Ian Somerhalder has been a long time favourite to play Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey film, he seems to now have been overtaken by some other leading men. One such man appears to be Henry Cavill, who is getting more and more support from the Fifty Shades of Grey fans everyday and that support will explode with the release of Man of Steel.
Winner: Henry Cavill
