It is fair to say that Emilia Clarke has been one of the favourites to be cast as Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey film since day one. Emilia has the perfect looks required to be a convincing Ana, as well as her experience with sexual scenes and fans have taken this on board. One excited fan stated, "Yes, Emilia!! She is amazing. She's the whole package and we haven't seen that from any of the other suggestions so far. Not only has the perfect Ana Steele look but her willingness and experience with nudity is a huge plus :)"

Like Emilia Clarke, Alexis Bledel has been mentioned time and time again as a fans favourite to be be Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey. Alexis has even appeared in a fan made Fifty Shades of Grey movie trailer and admitted that she may be interested in the role. However, fans seem to be losing faith in her ability to pass as Ana, with one fan saying, "Alexis is really too old for this role and although she may not look 31, she no longer looks 21."
With that said, it seems that we have a clear winner. While there have been plenty of names mentioned in recent months, the person that the fans want to see playing Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie is Emilia Clarke.
