Our search for Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie continues as we continue to narrow the actresses linked to the role. We have previously seen Alexis Bledel overcome Kristen Stewart, Emilia Clarke take out Felicity Jones and yesterday saw Lucy Hale beat Emma Watson. Now, we are going to check out Nina Dobrev and Amber Heard

Since the day that it was announced that a Fifty Shades of Grey movie was going to be made, fans of The Vampire Diaries have been screaming for Nina Dobrev to be cast as Anastasia Steele. Many fans would love to see Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey film. Nina is certainly an actress on the up and leading a movie as huge as Fifty Shades of Grey could be perfect for her career.

While there have been certain individuals that have been receiving huge backing from fans around the world, there has only been a small murmur about Amber Heard. However, Amber has proven over the years that she is more than capable of pulling off such a huge role and her stunning looks will certainly not harm her chances. The only thing really letting her down is the backing of the Fifty Shades of Grey fans, although they could come around in time.

However, Amber Heard does not seem to have as big a pulling power as Nina Dobrev, as she will bring in a huge portion of The Vampire Diaries fans. It is unlikely that Nina Dobrev will be cast alongside Ian Somerhalder, as the Fifty Shades of Grey movie will not want to link too heavily to The Vampire Diaries. With that said, Nina has a better chance of being cast as Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie than Amber Heard.
