There have been plenty of rumours surrounding the potential cast for the big screen adaptation of the hit novel Fifty Shades of Grey but the longer we wait for the lead roles to be cast, the more people are withdrawing themselves. The latest person to reject any connections to the Fifty Shades of Grey movie is Keira Knightley, who said she will definitely not be involved.

An MTV interview said to Keira, “You've done some great literary adaptations obviously from the works of Tolstoy, I feel like the next one obviously would have to be Fifty Shades of Grey,” but she made it very clear that this would certainly not be the case.
Knightley said, in no uncertain terms, “No, it's not. It's not going to be Fifty Shades of Grey. You know, I normally don't like to give a definite about anything [but] I can definitely say it will not be Fifty Shades of Grey.” Keira also stated that she had not even read the books and had no intention to do so.

Could Alexis Bledel play Anastasia Steele?
That means there is now one less star to link to the role of Anastasia Steele, although there are still plenty of rumours flying around. Many top actresses, such as Kristen Stewart, Nina Dobrev and Emilia Clarke have been linked to the role but the favourite to play Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey seems to be Alexis Bledel.
