When it comes to a huge movie franchise such as Star Wars, it is almost a given that almost every actor in the business would love a role in the next movie. While the only real stars confirmed for Star Wars: Episode VII are Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, there have been plenty of other stars putting their name forward.
The latest actor to admit that he would love to have a role in Star Wars: Episode VII, is Fringe star John Noble. John has already appeared on the big screen in one huge movie franchise, when he played Denethor in Lord of the Rings but he says that Star Wars is the franchise that everybody would love to be in.
Speaking to IGN, Noble explained, "I'd love to do Star Wars. That would just be epic doing something like that. And it's not beyond the realm of possibility. I have a terrific relationship with JJ Abrams and Bad Robot (production company), I really do. So it's not beyond the realm of possibility. It's a while away yet."
He added, "Well, I mean Star Wars. If you're going to do one, do Star Wars. I mean seriously, if you're going to pick one to do, do that one. Because that's basically a cultural revolution. It reset pop culture in some ways. So if I had to choose one, it would be that one."
Star Wars: Episode VII is still in the script writing process but production is expected to begin in early 2014, with a release coming sometime in 2015.
