Welsh actor Timothy Dalton is versatile, as well as talented. Who would have thought that the Welsh actor who played James Bond in "Living Daylights" and "License to Kill" would also be Mr. Pricklepants in the first ever television version of "Toy Story?" Actually, Dalton was also in "Toy Story 3." In the new special, he again did the voice of the extremely theatrical Mr. Pricklepants. This was the first television special by Pixar, "Toy Story of Terror!" The show has premiered on television in the United States. It will be on television in the United Kingdom and will be on reruns around the world throughout October.
The special ran 22 minutes and had familiar characters. Tim Allen again played spaceman Buzz Lightyear, and Tom Hanks again cowboy Woody. There were also many other toys, who viewed a scary movie while taking a road trip. After the group had a flat tire, they had to spend a night in a motel. Mr. Pricklepants began to predict gloom for the group, troubles that might happen in a horror movie, for each toy. It turned out to not be a joke, when one at a time the toys disappeared.
Dalton, is also staring in a Psychological Thriller, "Penny Dreadful" with co-stars from his 007 movies. The cast includes Eva Green, who played Casino Royale, and Rory Kinnear, who played Skyfall and will be the next “Alfred” in the Batman movie series.
