There are a lot of extremely talented stars in Hollywood these days and, over the years we have seen more and more British actors and actresses coming over to Los Angeles to try to make a name for themselves. We have had television stars, movie stars and then there are those that try to do a mixture of the two, working both sides of the pond.
One such British actress, who has been involved in many different television shows and movies over the years, is the wonderful, beautiful and extremely talented Janet McTeer. While Janet has enjoyed success for many years, the last couple of years have really seen her come into her own, with a number of impressive roles.
Back in 2012, Janet McTeer appeared in the role of Kate Franklin in nine episodes of the hit series Damages, while also appearing in four episodes of the show Parade's End. Meanwhile, 2012 also saw Janet McTeer appear in the movie The Woman in Black, with Daniel Radcliffe, as well as the film Hannah Arendt.
That was clearly a very successful year for the actress but 2013 was also fairly good, as Janet McTeer played the role of Jacquetta Woodville in the television series The White Queen. Next up, we will see Janet McTeer in the upcoming mini-series The Honourable Woman, as well as starring in the movie Angelica.
There is no denying that Janet McTeer is a hugely talented actress who will continue to bring us entertainment on both the big and small screen.
