With yet another episode of the impressive first season of Suits out of the way, there is not long left before the season comes to an end. The shows two main stars, Gabriel Macht and Patrick J Adams have given their insight into the relationship between their characters.
Gabriel explained, “I think Mike is constantly questioning but I think Harvey actually believes that it's there. He has to ride him, he's got to be tough on him, but he's absolutely fair with his approach; what he can give to him, how he lets him go on his way, how he inspires him.”
He then continued, “I think there's some teaching, but there is a friendship and Harvey knows this guy is his ace in the hole.” Patrick then weighed in with his ideas, saying, There are a lot of moments with -- for lack of a better word -- tenderness, friendship tenderness. He lets me get away with some stuff, he realizes that. He defends me.”
Gabriel Macht and Patrick J Adams have previously joked about hating each other, while Patrick has also discussed season two and Gabriel has teased the end of season one. The first season of Suits continues every Thursday on USA, with the second season expected to premiere in June 2012.
