From the very moment that it was announced that Fast and Furious actress Gal Gadot had been cast in the role of Wonder Woman for the Warner Bros. and DC movie Batman vs. Superman she has had to face many critics. Most of the comic book fans feel that Gal was a terrible choice to play Wonder Woman, as she does not have the right body to play the character.
However, rather than letting these negative comments get to her, Gal Gadot has decided to knuckle down and get herself into the best possible shape for playing Wonder Woman. Over the past few months Gal has kept fans up to date with her progress and now she has opened up about her diet and training regime to get herself looking as much like Wonder Woman as she can.
Gadot was chatting to E! Online, when she told them, "I just keep active -- everything that's challenging me, everything that I feel like doing. It's not like I'm only doing TRX or Pilates. I do sports. I do cardio, but I don't like it as much. I'd rather do weights... I try to eat healthy, but sometimes though, I eat cheeseburgers. That's good for the soul. I make sure to balance everything out. I drink tons of water."
As well as starring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, the Batman vs. Superman movie will also see Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman, while Jesse Eisenberg joins as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons will play Alfred the butler. Batman vs. Superman will hit the big screen on May 6, 2016 in both the US and the UK.
