Hollywood actress Gal Gadot has made a name for herself, by starring in the Fast and Furious franchise, among some other promising projects. Gal was born and raised in Israel and has spoken about representing Israel in Hollywood.
Gadot told The Algemeiner, "I have much love for Israel. It is a place that warms my heart, it is my home. However, I don’t feel like I represent Israel in Hollywood, I represent myself. I am not an Israeli ambassador yet. When it comes to Israel there is a lot of misconception. Some people still think that the Israelis ride around on camels."
She added, "It is important for me to show Israel on its true side as a positive, pluralistic country. Israel is full of interesting culture and liberal people. Israel is a beautiful place with lots of heart and meaning. I am proud to call it my home."
Gal Gadot can be seen on the big screen, reprising her role as Gisele, in the movie Fast and Furious 6, which sees her re-teaming with Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster. Justin Lin directs Fast and Furious 6, which was released in the UK on May 17 and opens in the US on May 24.
