It was questioned at the end of the first season of Game of Thrones, whether they would have enough characters left to make a second season. However, they have been signing on new cast members nonstop since the first season finished and they are not likely to stop just yet.
The fantasy HBO show killed off a number of the main characters, leaving only a handful of stars remaining but with all the extra characters brought on board, it seems like there will be more than ever. The latest to join the show is Robert Pugh, who will play Caster when Game of Thrones returns.
The remaining cast members, who are set to reprise their roles in season two of Game of Thrones, include Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage and Maisie Williams, to name just a few. They will be joined by newcomers including Michael McElhatton, Stephen Dillane, Gemma Whelan and Natalie Dormer, plus many more. Game of Thrones season two is set to premiere on HBO in April, 2012.
