Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa has revealed how he is full of respect and has nothing but praise for the hard work they put in. Jason had some seriously difficult, physical scenes to perform during filming Conan the Barbarian and while he likes to do as many as he can, he was happy to let the professionals take the hardest stunts.
Momoa explained, “I totally love and respect the stunt guys. After watching some of the scenes, I’m saying, ‘Why am I doing all this work!?’ I almost killed myself.’’ He then recalled a horse riding scene, “I’m like, This is cool. Full-on galloping. But suddenly I see this dip in the road and I think, ‘Surely this horse sees it too.’ But no, his ass goes over his head. I slid down his neck. Boom! I got out at the last second before he smashed down on top of me.’’
Jason Momoa has previously admitted that he believes his Game of Thrones character Drogo would “kick Conan’s ass” if the two were ever to have a fight. Conan the Barbarian is set to be released in the US this Friday (August 19) and will then be released in the UK on August 24.
