Game of Thrones Season two premiere confirmed

The official release date for the premiere of the second season of the hit HBO fantasy drama Game of Thrones has finally been confirmed. It appears that the Game of Thrones season two premiere has been brought forward by two weeks of its original release, which was expected to be on Sunday, April 15, 2012. However, with things moving along so well, the date has been brought forward.
 
 
The second season of Game of Thrones will now premiere on HBO on Sunday, April 1, 2012, as confirmed by HBO last week. The date has led many people to think that it is an April Fools prank but it is actually 100% official that Game of Thrones season two will premiere on April 1, with a ten episode season.
 
Fans were hoping for more episodes from the second season of Game of Thrones but the makers believe that there is more than enough involved in the ten episodes to keep the fans happy. Game of Thrones season two will see a number of new faces, as a whole host of new characters are set to appear.
