The career of English actress Emilia Clarke is one that continue to go from strength to strength, slowly but surely making the beautiful and talented star one of the most sought after actresses in Hollywood. It was only a few years ago that Emilia Clarke was a name that almost nobody had even heard of but now, she is a household name around the world.
The rise of Emilia Clarke is all thanks to her role as Danerys Targaryen in the hit HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones, which has led to many doors opening for the actress. Not only will we get to see Emilia take on the iconic role of Sarah Connor in Terminator Genesis, but it has now been reported that she has signed on to star in the new movie Voice from the Stone.
Not a huge amount of information has been revealed about Voice from the Stone but it has been confirmed that the movie is a psychological thriller that will see Emilia Clarke in the lead role. Voice from the Stone is set Tuscany in the 1950s and follows a nurse helping a boy to come to terms with the death of his mother. Before long, the nurse discovers there is more going on than originally meets the eye, as she faces the malevolent forces haunting the family castle.
It has been claimed that Voice from the Stone will begin shooting in November this year, with director Eric D. Howell helming the project, based on the script that Andrew Shaw developed from the Silvio Raffo novel. Voice from the Stone does not yet have an official release date but it is expected to open sometime late in 2015, we will keep you posted.
