We have to admit that, when we watch the hit HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones, we do look at the scenery that this show is shot on and admire how beautiful some of these places are, telling ourselves that we will one day head off and see them all. Well, the stars of Game of Thrones are still shooting some of the scenes for the seventh season of the show, and it looks like they must be shooting somewhere in Spain.
Actress Emilia Clarke, who plays the role of Daenerys Targaryen, Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister, and Conleth Hill, who plays Lord Varys, decided to use some of their downtime from shooting Game of Thrones, to head off and watch a Spanish soccer match. The threesome were at the match last night, between Sevilla and Barcelona, which ended in a 2-1 win for Barcelona.
Emilia Clarke took to her official Instagram account, to post a picture of the three of them at the match, along with the caption, "Seville vs Barcelona?! WHAT A MATCH! Espana what a welcome you've given us all.... get a load of these grins and get a load of that match. 🙌 #unclekenwouldvebeenproudofmyhecklingforsure💪🏻 #arsenalfcyoureupnext...🙏🏻 #wearefilmingiswearnotjusthavingagiggle 💃."
From the looks of the picture, it seems that the gang were supporting Sevilla, well at least Peter Dinklage anyway, as he was sporting what looks like a Sevilla scarf. If that was indeed the case, then we hope that they were not too disappointed by the result.
As for Game of Thrones, season seven is set to premiere on HBO on June 25, 2017.
