Take That singer and X Factor judge Gary Barlow has revealed how he entered into talks about returning for another season of the ITV singing competition before the last season had even finished. There had been talks that Gary would be leaving The X Factor to spend more time with his family and, although he has yet to sign, he does seem to have changed his mind.
Gary explained, "I started talks two weeks before the last one finished. We are talking." Meanwhile an X Factor insider claims that the show would not have been as good as it was without Gary Barlow, so getting him back is a must. They said, "Gary loved being on the show and genuinely wants to be back. While viewing figures were down a few million, the feeling is it would have been worse without Gary."
Gary Barlow was the highest paid judge on The X Factor judging panel last season, with a reported £1.5m fee, and it is believed that he will be offered even more money to return for a second season. It is also believed that Tulisa Contostavlos will return after also being offered a pay rise and Louis Walsh will return yet again. However, it seems that Kelly Rowland has decided not to return, with Simon Cowell eager to get Cheryl Cole back.
