From pretty much the moment that it was revealed that Harvey Weinstein was being investigated over some sexual harassment claims, it did not take long at all for the floodgates to open and for a huge amount of his victims to come out and share their horrible experiences with the Hollywood bigwig, with some suggesting that there must have been someone who knew what he was doing all along.

Now, Hollywood superstar George Clooney has spoken out to give his views on the sexual harassment accusations, insisting that those who have helped to cover it up for so long also deserve to face the consequences. George says that he is glad that Harvey is finally being punished for his disgusting behaviour but he also hopes that those other people involved will also get what is coming to them.
Clooney said, "Harvey would talk about women that he'd, you know, gone out with. I didn't really necessarily believe that because to believe that would believe bad things about actresses that I know and like, and I didn't really buy into that. But I will say that somebody knew and if there was a reporter that sat on a story for years and didn't write it, I want to know why because I would have liked to know to these stories."

He added, "And if there was a newspaper of a website that had this information that investigated it, I'd like to see how much ad money they got from Miramax or from the Weinstein Company. I want to know who took women up to a hotel room and then left them there for Harvey. I want to know who did that. Harvey's gonna get his and deserves it. But there's other people involved in this and the whole culture of this is gonna have to stop."
It will be interesting to see what does finally happen to Harvey Weinstein but we are sure he will no longer be a big player in Hollywood ever again.
