It looks like Gerard Butler can’t stop singing praises to his ‘Playing For Keeps’ co-star, Jessica Biel. The duo star together in the comedy that just came out in theaters this past weekend, and failed to do well at the box office.

At least the stars managed to get something out of it – when talking about his ‘good friend’ Jessica Biel, Butler said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight [via the Gossip Girls], “This is the best performance I've ever seen Jessica give. It's really touching, it's very funny, it's full of angst and I felt that in every scene with her. She was so incredible to act with and we got on really well. We became good friends."
When speaking about the movie itself, Butler said, “It's fun, it's sexy. It's bizarre and it has men's stuff, it has women's stuff. It covered all bases and that's why I wanted to do it."

It looks like neither the audiences nor critics agreed, since the ‘Playing for Keeps’ is at an abysmal 2% on Rotten Tomatoes. The film has also performed very poorly at the box office this past weekend, barely coming in 6th place with $6 million for the three days.
