UK pop band Girls Aloud have confirmed that they are set to reunite in just nine days time. The band are being tipped to make their first post reunion appearance together on talent show Strictly Come Dancing next weekend.

The five piece relaunched their website yesterday with a timer counting down to the exact minute that they get back together. Nadine Coyle, 27, seemed excited about the future, posting a Tweet saying: 'How are you all feeling now? I have serious excitement that has taken over since last night! Xx.'
Rumours regarding a reunion have been circulating for some time now, as the band prepare to mark their tenth anniversary as a group next month. Their anticipated stint on Strictly has been seen by many as a deliberate snub to Simon Cowell, who's rival show The X Factor clashes with the dancing show. Cheryl Cole, 29, recently called Simon a coward for sacking her from the US version of the hit TV talent contest.
Cheryl has been seen looking smitten recently as she enjoys her new relationship with dancer Tre Holloway, 27. And Cheryl as even introduced her new man to her band mates as they celebrated Nicola Roberts' 27th birthday in London club Whisky Mist on Sunday.
