It has been confirmed that two brand new characters are set to appear in the new season of Glee when it premieres later in the year. Both characters are female and they will join up with the Glee regulars along with the winner of The Glee Project, which is due to start on Oxygen on June 12.
The first new girl is said to be a cross between British singers Adele and Susan Boyle. It is said that the actress who plays her will need to be 18 and have a very strong singing voice. The second character is called Rebecca and is expected to be a very versatile singer.
The third season of Glee is set to hit TV screens this fall, exclusively on FOX. Season two of the hit musical TV show is currently airing in the UK and can be seen on E4 on Monday nights at 9pm.
