Dana Walden, the co chair of the hit Fox musical television series Glee, has revealed how the finale to the third season of the show is set to be a powerful one. Dane admitted to TV Line that the Glee season three finale will end in a way that sets up Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) and Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) for their return to the show.
Walden explained, "[Glee] is driving towards graduation and an exciting end to the season. [There is] a very powerful finale when viewers get to see what's on the horizon for all of these characters that people love so deeply.”
She added, “We're [building to] a very exciting launch into next season. I see [season four] as a continuation of Glee. I don't define it in any one way or another. It feels like Glee to me.”
Dana continued, “The ideas that Ryan Murphy's discussed with me feel consistent with this amazing series. It feels very consistent in a dynamic and entertaining way."
Glee season three is set to return to Fox for the final part of the season, on April 10.
