Glee actor Matthew Morrison has opened up about how he was once involved in a near death experience, which he was lucky to have survived. Matthew revealed that he was doing a bit of kitesurfing, when events took a turn for the worse, leading to him thinking his life was over.
Morrison was talking to OK! Magazine, when he explained, “I like pushing myself and usually if I'm not good at something, I just won't do it because I'm a perfectionist. I tried kitesurfing and I nearly died. The cord that goes around the kite somehow got wrapped around my neck, and the kite was going so fast and was dragging me underwater.”
He added, “I thought I was going to die. Eventually the kite dipped down in the water and released the tension on my neck. It was one of the scariest moments of my life.”
Matthew Morrison can continue to be seen, starring as the character Will Scuester, in the hit Fox musical television series Glee, which is currently in its fourth season and is set to return from its mid-season break on Thursday, January 24.
