The landmark 100th episode of Gossip Girl is set to hit television screens soon and the show’s executive producers have been teasing what fans can expect from the 100th episode. Josh Safran told how fans are set to gasp at the final scenes of the episode, while Stephanie Savage revealed that all will become clear with future episodes of Gossip Girl.
Savage explained, "That's one of the fun things about having a mature show in season five. In the first couple of seasons, you feel like you have to keep certain things very guarded and protected, because the hope is that you'll have to make them last a long time. You'll learn more about why that has happened and how that has happened. You see, it was such an easy decision. It wasn't something we belaboured over or had long discussions about."
Safran added, "You have to see the last few minutes to believe them. I really think they will take people's breath away." Josh also admitted that Chuck (Ed Westwick) is going to find it difficult not to return to his bad boy roots in future episodes. Gossip Girl air on Monday night at 8/7c on The CW.
