Josh Safran, the executive producer for the hit The CW show Gossip Girl, has revealed a little more about what fans of the show can expect from their favourite characters for the rest of the season. Josh addressed what is in store for the relationship between Blair and Dan and how their actions could have an effect on those of Serena (Blake Lively).
Safran explained, "I wouldn't say it's going to be highlighted, but I definitely do think [the fall finale] started Serena on a path to look at her past, especially as it concerns her relationships and what they've actually meant to her. That takes her into some surprising directions. Maybe there is a little bit, for her, of revisiting the past."
He then discussed the possibility of Blair (Leighton Meester) and Dan (Penn Badgley) becoming more than just friends. Josh added, "The question of whether or not she's in denial and knows it or whether she truly doesn't see it will be answered in upcoming episodes. I will leave that to Blair to answer. I don't want to answer for her." Gossip Girl continues on The CW at 8/7c.
