Grainne Seoige is about to get married and to make sure that both sides of the family can attend the wedding she plans to get married in her home country of Ireland and also in her fiancé's home country, South Africa. This is the epitome of satisfying both sides of the family and will likely make her as beloved within the groom's family as she is a favourite of her Irish fans.
She and her fiancé, rugby coach Leon Jordaan are planning to get married at the end of 2014 or early in 2015 but this is not a 'rushed' marriage. The beautiful Irish broadcaster has been secretly engaged for several months but the couple wanted to keep the news out of the spotlight and thus they only told their close friend and family. They held a 'private' engagement party at the popular night club Lillies Bordello in April but other than those who attended no one outside of their circle was aware of their engagement.
The secrecy that surrounded the engagement is not a surprise as Grainne Seoige is an individual who prefers to to keep her personal life 'private' but she did reveal in an interview some little tidbits about why she fell for the rugby coach. He in her words "understands" a west of Ireland girl such as herself and he "gets her".
The couple has been dating since October 2011 after they met while she was filming her Reality Bites programme, Grainne's Modern Life at his rugby club in Navan.
Grainne Seoige is about to walk down the aisle twice in one year, once in Ireland and once in South Africa and as some fans have noted, no family member can ever complain that she does make an effort to make everyone in her family happy.
