When it comes to comic book adaptations, Marvel have clearly been leading the way, giving us plenty of impressive comic book movies, as well as a number of comic book television shows, interlinking their big screen and small screen projects. Meanwhile, Warner Bros. and DC are playing catch up and have decided to do things a little differently from Marvel.

While DC and Warner Bros. are bring us a number of television shows and movies, they are not actually interlinking them and are instead keeping their comic book movies separate from their comic book TV shows. It is for this reason that we are not only getting to see The Flash on the small screen, in the hit The CW series, but we are also going to get The Flash on the big screen.
Actor Grant Gustin plays The Flash in The CW show and he has managed to win over even some of the most sceptical comic book fans, with his top draw performances. Grant really has made the role his own and it is hard to imagine anyone else playing the character. However, fellow actor Ezra Miller is set to play The Flash on the big screen, with some even suggesting he could make a cameo appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

If Ezra Miller does not appear in that movie, then we will likely have some wait before we know what to expect from his performance as The Flash, as he is not due to have his own standalone movie until March 23, 2018. One thing we do know for sure though, is that Ezra is going to have his work cut out topping the performances of Grant Gustin as The Flash. Watch this space!
