If you remember rightly, a few weeks back, there was some talk about director Guillermo del Toro potentially being involved in a big screen adaptation of the DC series Justice League Dark. Back then, Guillermo was a little vague on the details and if he was even involved.
However, Guillermo del Toro has now confirmed that he is definitely going to push forward with the project but that it would only be loosely based on Justice League Dark and would in fact be titled Dark Universe. Guillermo also gave fans a little tease of who they could expect to see in the movie.
Del Toro admitted that he is most certainly involved in the project, saying, “I'm doing it. I'm writing an outline,” before going on to state that the movie would feature at least, “Swamp Thing, John Constantine, Deadman, Etrigan, Specter, Zatana and Zatara.”
Meanwhile, Guillermo del Toro’s most recent movie Pacific Rim, which stars Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman, Idris Elba and Charlie Day, is set to be released on July 12 in both the US and the UK. Check out the trailer for Pacific Rim below, now and share your thoughts with us.
