Guillermo del Toro is one of those people who does not like to be inactive when it comes to his work. Guillermo is set to release his latest film Pacific Rim in a few months, while it has also been confirmed that his next movie Crimson Peak will be released next year.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast
However, Guillermo is not satisfied with just releasing two movies in two years and is also set to make a live action adaptation of the classic tale Beauty and the Beast, which will star Harry Potter actress Emma Watson. Guillermo says that he has received a first draft of the script for the movie, which has been penned by Andrew Davies.
Del Toro told The Playlist, “We just got the first draft from Andrew Davies, who wrote some BBC Charles Dickens miniseries, to great effect, including two of my favorites of his – "Little Dorritt" and "Bleak House." I love his work. So we just got it. I'm doing a pass myself and then we'll send it to the studio for reactions.”

Emma Watson is set to star in the movie
Meanwhile, Guillermo del Toro’s latest film, Pacific Rim stars Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman and Charlie Day and is set to be released on July 12 in both the US and the UK.
