After a three-year break since the release of 'True Grit', Hailee Steinfeld has an astonishing 6 films set to release in 2013, with another 3 scheduled in 2014. She has been booking roles non-stop, and her latest role is as the lead in a revenge thriller called 'For The Dogs'.
Steinfeld is not new to the revenge thriller genre, after starting her career with 'True Grit'. Sam Worthington will play the male lead opposite her, and the official synopsis for the film reads, "Worthington plays an assassin who gets talked into helping a precocious teenager (Steinfeld) seek revenge on the criminals who murdered her parents and younger brother. His guidance unleashes events that ultimately stoke her thirst for vengeance while he desperately seeks peace and absolution.”
Steinfeld's next high-profile release is 'Romeo and Juliet' opposite Douglas Booth sometime in July, and then 'Ender's Game' opposite Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield in November.
Apart from that, she also has 'Can A Song Save Your Life', 'Hateship, Loveship', 'Three Days To Kill', and 'The Homesman' all set to release this year. She has 'Barely Lethal', 'Why We Broke Up', and 'The Keeping Room' all in pre-production for release in 2014.
