It is hard to believe that Haley Joel Osment is still only 24, as it feels like he has been around forever. His performance in the 1999 movie The Sixth Sense will forever define his career and, everytime you think that you have seen the last of him, Haley Joel Osment comes back with a new movie.
It has now been reported by Variety that Haley Joel Osment has signed on to join Jeremy Irvine in the movie The World Made Straight. The movie centres around a young man who is having a difficult time of things, as he fights against the violent past, which has been linked to his home town following a Civil War massacre.
This could be the start of a big comeback push for Haley Joel Osment, who has already completed the pilot Alpha House, with John Goodman, for Amazon. There is also the fact that he has signed on to star in the movie Sex Ed with Glen Powell, as well as appearing alongside Michelle Trachtenberg in the film Blank Nation.
With so many interesting projects coming up, it will be interesting to see of Haley Joel Osment still has that acting talent, which made him one of the most sought after child stars in the early 2000s, or if he has failed to realise the potential that he had at such a young age.
Do you think Haley Joel Osment still has what it takes to be a Hollywood star?
