Many thought that Halle Berry had bagged quite the catch when she announced her engagement to Olivier Martinez, but reports that have emerged paint a very different picture. 
Halle and Gabriel were once happy together
Olivier is sporting a strapped-up hand which he hurt during his fight with Halle's ex, Gabriel Aubry. And Halle's ex has accused Olivier of being the one who started the fight. Angry Gabriel is facing assault charges, despite claiming that it was Olivier who went crazy.
The brawl was reportedly down to Gabriel winning a court battle over his and Halle's four-year-old daughter, Nahla. French actor, Olivier, 46, was hoping to move Halle and daughter Nahla to live in Paris with him until Gabriel blocked the move via a judge.
Gabriel, 36 - whose court victory landed Halle and Olivier with a £1.9million legal bill - claimed that Olivier went crazy over the bill, and that is how the fight started. Gabriel states that the actor punched him to the ground, kicked him in the ribs and slammed his head on a concrete driveway. And the photo's of Gabriel's injury's certainly supports this claim - the model has a black, swollen eye and some other painful looking injuries.

Halle had to call the cops to break up the fight
Shockingly, Nahla is said to have witnessed the whole ordeal. It was Hally, 46, who called the police and blamed Gabriel for the violence.
Gabriel has since filed a restraining order against Olivier.
