When it was announced that Bryan Singer had hugely ambitious plans for his movie X-Men: Days of Future Past, which would take the characters from the original X-Men movies and put them in a film with the characters from the X-Men: First Class film, fans around the world went crazy with excitement. Unfortunately, there have been some set backs along the way.
One of the characters that we were most looking forward to seeing in X-Men: Days of Future Past was Storm, once again played by Halle Berry. We are a big fan of Storm and were really looking forward to seeing Halle Berry back in the role for the first time since X-Men: The Last Stand. Again, some complications made things difficult for us to have Storm at her best.
Halle Berry was pregnant when it came to shooting her scenes, which meant that we would not see Storm involved in any fight scenes or flying at all. Now it has been claimed that we will only get to see Halle Berry as Storm in one small scene, after most of her scenes were cut during editing. New York Daily News claimed that their source from the set said that there was just one scene left with Storm in it.
However, the guys over at SHH claim that their very own source has stated that these claims are completely untrue and we will see Halle Berry as Storm in a number of scenes in X-Men: Days of Future Past. So, who is telling the truth? Will we see Halle Berry as Storm in just one small scene or more than that? We will just have to wait and see.
X-Men: Days of Future Past will open on May 22 in the US and then on May 23 in the UK.
