Hannah Simone has had a huge couple of years, breaking out with the hit TV show 'New Girl'. She has been called everything from bombshell to sexy, but the newly minted TV star reveals to Glow Magazine that she absolutely detests being called 'curvy'.

She tells Glow, "Curvy is just a polite way of saying fat. And I’m not." She adds, "Curvy and voluptuous—that one also got dragged through the mud, that poor word. It really just means a woman with breasts. [But] I’m confident with my body.”
While it's true that Simone has been called curvy, voluptuous, and shapely, she has also often been voted has having one of the best bodies on television. She has been touted as the aspiration for thousands of teenagers and young adults who watch her on New Girl. Simone does add, in the same interview, that the show has offered her a great opportunity to reach a huge audience without turning into a racial stereotype. She explains that she has to thank the Executive Producer of 'New Girl', adding, "I remember thanking Liz, and saying, ‘You’ve no idea what you’ve done, that you’ve put this Indian actress in this visible role, where it’s not about her ethnicity. It’s an incredibly exciting time to be a comedic actress. There is this demand for smart, funny, attractive women.”
