Harrison Ford has revealed how he called fellow Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf a F***ing Idiot, after LaBeouf publically criticised Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Shia co starred with Harrison in the fourth instalment of the Indiana Jones franchise but didn’t feel that it was up to scratch.
LaBeouf initially said, "I feel like I dropped the ball on the legacy that people loved and cherished. I have a relationship with [director] Steven [Spielberg] that supersedes our business work. And believe me, I talk to him often enough to know that I'm not out of line. And I would never disrespect the man. But when you drop the ball you drop the ball."
When questioned about LaBeouf’s remarks, Harrison Ford explained, "I think I told him he was a f***ing idiot," said Ford. "As an actor, I think it's my obligation to support the film without making a complete ass of myself. Shia is ambitious, attentive, and talented - and he's learning how to deal with a situation which is very unique and difficult." Talks of a fifth instalment of the Indiana Jones series are still ongoing but it will not surprise anyone if Shia LaBeouf is not involved.
