One Direction singer Harry Styles has admitted that he has no problems with revealing his girlfriend to the world. The currently single Harry has stated that he would much rather tell people that he was in a relationship with someone, instead of them digging it up and proving a point.
Styles explained to Top of the Pops, “I've never lied about having a girlfriend. I think if you lie, people just want to prove you wrong, so you might as well tell the truth. Why let someone else kind of get the dirt when you can just be honest about it anyway?”
However, Harry did admit that, while the One Direction boys always try to keep a brave face on, they do sometimes feel the effects of media rumours. He added, “Sometimes things really affect us. I wouldn't say I cry a lot, though. It depends on what's happened. We're all just normal teenage boys. We have feelings and we go through things too.”
Harry Styles is one of the three One Direction members who are currently single, along with Niall Horan and the newly single Liam Payne. Meanwhile, Louis Tomlinson is currently dating Eleanor Calder and Zayn Malik is dating Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.
