It has not been the best of weeks for One Direction star Harry Styles, who has been having a bit of a bad rub of the green. On Tuesday night, Harry Styles was performing with his One Direction bandmates, when he was hit in the groin with a flying shoe, causing him to double over in pain.
Now, it has been announced that poor Harry Styles has been voted as the Villain of the Year by NME, although, in fairness to the curly haired singer, he took the jibe in his stride. Harry took to his official Twitter account to say, "And thank you to @NME for my award tonight. Gotta take the rough with the smooth eh?"
However, Harry's One Direction fans did not take to kindly to the award and have taken to their own Twitter accounts to let NME know exactly what they think. One fan said, "This is the bulls**t. You're perfect, The @NME are just jealous of your talent. I love you Harry :) xx".
While another added, “@onedirection @Harry_Styles babe calm down @nme be trippin imma kill there ratchet a**** Kay. They don't knoe talent when they see it."
Harry Styles is currently enjoying the One Direction World Tour, which will see the boyband hit 19 different countries across 117 dates.
