One Direction has been in the middle of a massive press round over the past couple of weeks, and one of their interviews was a round of answering twitter questions from fans on Freshly Squeezed. When Harry Styles is asked whether he would shave off his hair for charity, he resoundingly replies, “Yes I would.” The others question him and ask him whether he actually would. He replies, “Yes – If I raised enough money, then yes. For children in need.”
They are also asked what they do when they get bored, and Niall answers that he mostly just sits around and watches TV. When they are next asked about the most embarrassing thing they’ve ever done, Liam Payne answers, “I once said I talk to girls on the Internet, do you remember?” He later adds that that particular comment was meant to be a joke regarding the fans he communicated with through Twitter. 
They were also on La Boite A Questions on Canal 4 in France, and they showed us their tattoos, imitate their fans by screaming, “Louis, can you show us your ass?”, pretend to be turning on the head in a fun skit. They’re also asked about a cute gift to give to a girlfriend, and Louis Tomlinson mentions that “flowers are always a cute gift to give to a girlfriend.”
One Direction is recently at the center of another controversy when the band Van Halen called them a 'shitty boyband'.
