Masi Oka might be soon playing roles in not one but two hit television series if the rumours surrounding the return of the hit televison show "Heroes" are correct. NBC recently announced that they will be bringing back the hit action drama "Heroes" but the name will be "Heroes Reborn" during a trailer that was released during the recent Winter Olympics. Masi Oka, who became a television star through his portrayal of the Asian character Hiro Nakamura, hinted through a social media that he might be back in the show as he tweeted "Time to dust off the sword?"
A role of this prominence would be great for Masi Oka as it was this role that earned him both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations as Best Supporting actor earlier in his career. Currently, he is known as the scene stealing coroner, Dr. Max Bergman, on the hit television series "Hawaii Five-O" and someone who television and film producers are considering for even larger roles in the future.
There is no guarantee that Masi Oka will be returning to "Heroes" as NBC has given no indication if they are bringing anyone from the past award winning cast back but many fans would have a very difficult time watching the show without Masi Oka playing the role of Hiro Nakamura.
Masi Oka is currently in high demand as he is regularly being offered scripts to play roles in Japan and he is also rumoured to have a Hollywood project in development that will have him playing the role of the featured actor. Masi Oka is an actor who has become an appreciated presence as part of the cast of his hit television shows because of his ability to turn his roles into something unique and memorable that fans always seem to remember.
