Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson: The ups and downs of a Hollywood relationship
Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen and The O.C. star Rachel Bilson have been dating for quite some time now but they have not had the easiest of rides. The couple first started dating after meeting each other on the set of the movie Jumper back in 2007 and fell for each other straight away.
The couple soon made their love for each other public knowledge and were engaged in 2008, with Rachel saying, “I’m happy and that’s all that matters. I have someone really great. Someone who can make me laugh—that’s always what comes first. It’s the best to be able to really, like, truly laugh with someone like they’re your best friend, you know?”
However, the Hollywood lovers struggled to cope with long distance relationship which began to occur. While Rachel was happy living in L.A., Hayden wanted to spend most of his time in Canada. This put strain on the relationship and in 2010 the couple called off the engagement.
It was then said that Christensen and Bilson had split up, although neither of them ever confirmed this and they were back together just weeks later. Now it seems that they are still happy together and are still dating but do not expect to hear wedding bells any time soon.

I think they made a gorgeous couple and I am hoping that they make it down the aisle. I think they've had time not only to appreciate each other more but to resolve their Canada-Hollywood dilema. They are both so level headed and down to earth that I truly believe they will give it their all-out, best try. God bless them both, it is a hard burden that's called "fame" and they have done the best with it I have seen anyone do.
