Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen became a household name, thanks to his role as Anakin Skywalker in the hit movie series. Since then, Hayden has gone on to appear in a number of films, working with some top names in Hollywood, up until 2010 when he seemed to decide to take a bit of a break.

We have not seen Hayden Christensen on the big screen since 2010 but, fortunately for his fans, Hayden will return this year with at least three movies set to open in 2014. While Christensen has three films that are currently in production, with a 2014 release date planned, he also has two more films in development, which could also open this year.

Hayden Christensen will appear with Nicolas Cage in the movie Outcast, which is currently filming and opens later in the year. He will then be seen with Jordana Brewster and Adrien Brody in the film American Heist, which also has a 2014 release planned. Then, while Hayden will not appear in the movie Cooties, which stars Elijah Wood and Alison Pill, he is acting as an executive producer on the project.

Those are the three films that Hayden Christensen currently has in production but he also has two more movies in development. The first, which is expected to open in 2014, is the Mohit Ramchandani movie Inner Circle, while the other film The Diplomat will also star Connie Nielsen but is yet to receive a release date.

With a big 2014 ahead for Hayden Christensen, we could well see the star getting back to his best.
