Actress Hayley Atwell has revealed how she had the chance to be a model when she was younger but decided not to go ahead with it. Hayley admits that she went to a modelling agency, in a bid to boost her career but states that she is glad that she did not go through with it, as she has made her acting career about her talent, rather than her looks.

While talking to The Independent Magazine, Atwell explained, “I can't imagine it if beauty was the only currency I used as an actress. It just doesn't interest me. I remember there was an opportunity when I was younger to model... I went to Storm modelling agency and the woman just went 'I think you'd be really bored'. Not to say I haven't met incredibly bright models but I'd feel very, very restless.”
Hayley Atwell starred as Peggy Carter in the Marvel movie Captain America: The First Avenger and it has been rumoured that she will reprise the role for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which is set to begin production in the New Year and is set to be released on April 4, 2014 in both the US and the UK.
