For anyone who's seen Man of Steel, you'll know that Henry Cavill got into incredible shape for his role as Superman in the reboot of the iconic film character. In an interview with MTV, Henry credits his trainer, Mark Twight, for getting him into the right mindset and shape to truly be able to play the Man of Steel.
Henry explained, "Mark is probably one of the most incredible people I have ever met. The things he has helped me achieve — I can only speak for myself, really — but he has opened my eyes to seeing past what I thought were my limits, the ability the crush me in the gym just enough that I can’t walk out properly and I feel horrible and feel a little sick, but I still want to come back.”
Henry's praised Mark before, and he's seemed to have developed a very close bond with Mark and the trainers he had on this film. It's not hard to see why - the training process was clearly intensive, and it would have taken a lot to get him to the physical shape that he was sporting during the movie.
The 'Man of Steel' DVD is currently out worldwide, and the sequel is currently prepping for shooting early 2014. Henry's currently wrapping up Guy Ritchie's The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and as soon as he wraps on that, he'll probably head back into training for Man of Steel 2.
