Hugh Jackman, who has starred in the X-Men movies as Wolverine, has confirmed that filming for his next movie The Wolverine will begin in October. Darren Aronofsky, of Black Swan fame, was due to direct the film but pulled out earlier this year. Now Night and Day director James Mangold will helm the movie.
Hugh Jackman will once again star as Wolverine in the X-Men spin off and he explained, "We shoot in October, so it will probably come out a year after that. That's usually around the timeline." It is believed that in The Wolverine, Hugh Jackman’s character will set off for Japan to train as a samurai.
Hugh Jackman has three films due to be released before the turn of the year. These movies include the Jim Field Smith comedy Butter, the Wayne Wang drama Snow Flower and the Secret Fan and the big budget sci-fi action drama Real Steel. Looks like Hugh Jackman is a busy man.
