While there is no denying that Australian actor Hugh Jackman is one of the most talented stars in the industry at the moment, it is also fair to say that he runs the risk of being typecast. Hugh has played the character Wolverine on five occasions already and it set to appear as the character for the sixth time in the movie The Wolverine.
Hugh has been talking about his love of the character and his future playing Wolverine, while also speaking about the upcoming movie The Wolverine. One thing that most people want to know, is how the character Jean Grey will fit into the movie, something which Hugh has touched on slightly.
Jackman has revealed, “There's no doubt that the most important relationship in his life is — we've seen through the movies — is his relationship with Jean Grey. Yes, we saw her die at the end of 'X-Men: The Last Stand,' but in this movie, she has a presence, which I think is vital to the movie, particularly for him confronting the most difficult thing within himself.”
The Wolverine is directed by James Mangold and is set to hit the big screen on July 26 in both the US and the UK. Fans will also get to see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in X-Men: Days of Future Past next year.
