Hugo Weaving has made a name for himself in Hollywood by starring in big budget Hollywood movies such as The Matrix, V for Vendetta and Lord Of The Rings. However, it turns out that Hugo is much more comfortable on the stage and is willing to give up the big screen to get back to raw acting.
Weaving explained, "I think I've about had enough. I'm not sure how many more of them I'll make. It doesn't feel to me as though they've been the majority of my work, though that's probably the way it seems to most other people. The great thing about stage is that you have a live audience."
He added, “When the camera is in your face, it provides for a privacy and a complexity that it's very hard to capture on stage." Hugo Weaving is set to reprise his role as Lord Of The Rings character Elrond in the Peter Jackson prequel The Hobbit, which is released on December 14, 2012.
