The Hunger Games sequel, 'Catching Fire' is about to start filming in Atlanta. The filming locations have been changed from the first movie, which was shot almost solely in North Carolina. The filming locations for Catching Fire are said to be primarily in Atlanta, largely due to locale and tax incentives.
Jennifer Lawrence was seen at LAX yesterday with her assistant getting ready to set to Atlanta, to begin prep for the sequel, even though her hair was still not dyed her dark brown Katniss hue. Josh Hutcherson was also said to be spotted at a Target in Atlanta with his assistant, buying home items to set up his temporarily household while filming, since they will definitely be there for at least a couple of months.

Both stars are said to be there early for prep work, as filming is said to not begin until early September. Casting announcements are wrapping up, with the two main characters in 'Catching Fire' being officially announced - Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair, and Jena Malone as Johanna Mason.
An Atlanta blog also reports that the Georgia World COngress Center will be one of the filming locations for 'Catching Fire'.
