Rapper and actor Ice Cube is one of the biggest Raiders fans on the planet, making the Raiders merchandise very popular in his early days with N.W.A., when he wore it almost religiously. Ice Cube did not miss a game when the Raiders were based in Los Angeles, and he is delighted to hear the news that there are plans for his beloved team to return to his home town.

Some people have suggested that, should the Raiders return to Los Angeles, then we could well see Ice Cube buying into the team and becoming a part-owner. However, the global superstar has now opened up about the possibility of seeing his team return to Los Angeles, admitting that he would not be able to get financially involved, as he is already too emotionally involved.
The musician and actor explained, "I'm too emotional as a fan. If I'm an owner, I'ma wanna, like, hijack and kill somebody. I'm like, 'Kidnap him... You dropped that ball, you're losing a finger!' I'm outta control when it comes to football and that's why I should stay a fan."

He added, "I don't gamble... but I'm always mad on Sundays; I don't know why. The parking lot was a little rough... You can lose a lot in that parking lot. But it's gonna be good this time, we just gotta have a lot of street lights, a lot of lit areas, security cams (cameras). It won't be the same."
It will be interesting to see whether the plans to see the Raiders return to Los Angeles do actually go through. It would certainly be a big day for LA if they do.
