There was once a time when it seemed like Michael Cera was going to become one of the biggest comedy actors in Hollywood but, for one reason or another, things have not quite panned out that way, although he is still working hard in the acting game. Rather than just focusing on a career in comedy acting though, Michael has decided to spread his wings and show his real acting talent.
Next up for Michael Cera is a role in the upcoming new movie Molly's Game, which will see the actor sharing the big screen with some of the top names in the industry. As well as seeing Michael appearing in the project, we will also see the likes of Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba, showing just how exciting and promising this new movie project just might be.
For those of you wanting to know more about the movie, Molly's Game has been officially described as, "Molly Bloom, a young skier and former Olympic hopeful becomes a successful entrepreneur (and a target of an FBI investigation) when she establishes a high-stakes, international poker game." We cannot wait to see how this movie pans out on the big screen.
It might be a while before we do finally get to see these three stars appearing together in this new movie, as Molly's Game is still in pre-production, with no official word yet of when shooting will begin. Meanwhile, Aaron Sorkin is directing Molly's Game, based on the screenplay that he adapted from the Molly Bloom memoirs, with the movie awaiting an official release date.
