In 2014 model Lydia Hearst will be one of the mentors and coaches for the reality television model show "The Face" along with Naomi Campbell and Anne V. In addition, she is currently filming the movie "Delirious", and has completed filming for two other movies that will likely be released in 2014, the horror movie "Cabin Fever: Patient Zero" and "Amnesia". Lydia Hearst has not officially retired from modelling but there is no question that she is definitely making a move from the runways of Europe to the small and big screen of television and film in 2014.

Lydia Hearst has achieved international renown as a model having been named a past Model of the Year in 2008 and earned cover appearances on most of the major fashion magazines of Europe and the United States. However, her decision to work with fellow models Naomi Campbell and Anne V as a mentor on the reality television show "The Face" on Oprah Winfrey's television network along with her acting commitments in the movies that will be released in 2014 suggest that she intends to pursue a career as a full-time actress.
The models who have had success making the transition from modelling to acting, notably Charlize Theron and Sharon Stone developed the acting credentials over the course of several years as they moved from the world of modelling and when one looks at the career path of Lydia Hearst it is interesting in that she seems to have taken the same approach. Since 2008 Lydia Hearst has been taking on acting roles in Hollywood appearing on shows such as the popular "Gossip Girls" and "Mistresses" and now in 2014 it looks as if she obtained enough work that she has decided she can now make the move to acting.

By the end of 2014 Lydia Hearst will have been seen in four movies and also as a regular member on a weekly basis for the reality television show "The Face" and the transition from international model to full-time Hollywood actress will be complete.
Hollywood should be on the lookout for Lydia Hearst because as her resume indicates, there is very little which this talented model cannot achieve and she has decided to become a full-time actress.
